Typical weekday's lunch

I love economy rice. You get to choose the dishes you want and it's quite cheap.

During weekdays I'll usually go to this economy rice stall nearby my college with a colleague:

It's located in a Chinese new village, where people are friendly and everybody knows everybody.

A good variety! All home-cooked, no MSG.

The cook. She has been living in the new village for more than 40 years. She started this stall when she just got married. Now she's a grandma!

 Usually I'll choose 2 veggies + 1 egg/meat/fish - this costs between RM3-3.50 (about USD 1-1.20)

Sometimes I also ordered porridge. Salted egg goes well with it! (the spring onions & garlic oil in the porridge were extras from grandma)

Then we'll end our lunch with fruit, bought them while on the way to this economy rice stall.
